III-V Multijunction solar cells

We cover all the value chain of development and manufacturing of III-V multijunction solar cells, from the fabrication of the semiconductor structures to their processing into complete solar cells devices. A wide range of III-V semiconductor structures can be fabricated by metal-organic vapor-phase epitaxy.

The processing can be done using custom-designed photolithography masks, and using a variety of metal systems for the metal-semiconductor contacts and a range of dielectrics for the anti-reflecting coatings. The main focus is put in solar cells, but these techniques are available for the fabrication of any III-V semiconductor device. This development and production is supported by advanced material and solar cell characterization capabilities, together with state-of-the-art modeling and simulation.
